My Urban Jungle

Whenever people come to visit they think they are stepping into a jungle.  Then I hear comments about how my plants are sitting on top of each other, and why don’t I remove the weeds and how come there are so many moss patches on the ground everywhere.  The fact is that I am pleased about these comments because I like to live in a jungle.  I don’t want a designer garden where everything is measured and calculated.  I like it wild and unruly, where you can play hide and seek and the bees and the birds and rabbits are having fun.   This year the plants have grown even higher and the weeds as well.  here are some pictures of my Urban Jungle.

  1. Thank you Sharon. I am happy that you like my little urban jungle. Unfortunately it is raining a lot and we cannot spend too much time outside. Very boring for Tina.

  4. I often sit out there with a book in hand. Unfortunately these days it is raining a lot, and the weeds are really really growing high. Thank you for visiting my blog. Lara

    1. Thank you. Actually the pictures sometimes look nicer. It is REALLY a jungle, especially now after the rain….it is raining non stop…..where the weeds have taken over, not to forget the mosquitos. But I still like it the way it is. Lara (Tina is my four-legged friend, after whom I named the blog).

  5. Thank you. I am happy you like the pictures. Life outside big towns is much better and greener with lots of fresh air. And yes, there is still lots of green and “empty” space in Canada.
