My little indoor jungle

We are still in the midst of winter with no spring or summer in sight.   Outside everything is white, covered in snow and ice, and we long for a bit of green space.  Here are the good news.  We can all create our own little indoor garden, no matter how small.   There are so many different plants and one for every corner of the house.  Some plants need more light and should be placed near a window while others thrive in the darkest corner.  Just find the right one for your home and which suits you best.    There are plants which  do not require lot of care, like the spider plant for example.   And then there are plants which grow very fast, like the rubber plant and they can look spectacular in any room.   My plants in my home have grown quite a bit and here are some pictures…

  1. Wunderbar gemütlich bei dir, liebe Lara, mit den herrlichen Grün- und Blühpflanzen! Du hast das auch ganz toll arrangiert, gefällt mir sehr! Die Gartenterrasse ist einfach traumhaft!
    Und ich hab mich in deine Küche verliebt, die ist ja fein, das Holz und die Farben gefallen mir so gut! Kein Wunder, daß sich Tina so wohl fühlt überall, aber ganz sicher nicht nur sie!
    Danke dir sehr fürs teilen, ganz langsam freu ich mich nun auch wieder auf den Frühling, ich hoffe, er hält vielleicht auch bei euch bald Einzug, bis dahin hast du es ja wunderbar blühend und grünend im Haus um dich rum, liebe Grüße

    1. vielen Dank liebe Monika. Ja, mit Pflanzen und Blumen kann man es sich gemütlich machen und es sieht wie in einem Garten aus. Es freut mich auch, dass Dir meine Küche gefällt weil viele meiner Freunde sie so altmodisch finden. Aber mir macht das nichts aus. Wir haben alle unseren eigenen Stil in dem wir uns wohlfühlen. Man muss nicht immer einem Trend folgen, und man kann auch nicht alle 5 Minuten was neues kaufen und umändern. Die Hauptsache man ist glücklich mit dem was man hat…..und man ist “gesund”. wünsche Dir noch einen schönen Tag, liebe Grüsse

      1. Ich finde deine Küche überhaupt nicht altmodisch, ich finde sie so gemütlich!!! So richtig zum drin wohlfühlen, und genau darum geht es, da hast du so recht. Ich folge auch nicht dem neuesten Trend, ich hab meinen eigenen Stil und muß und kann auch nicht alle 5 Minuten was neues kaufen. Und bin mit meiner Wohnung auch sehr glücklich und zufrieden, und das merkt man eben auch deiner Wohnung an, sie strahlt richtig Wärme aus! Und glücklich sein mit dem was man hat, vor allem, wenn man gesund ist, das finde ich ganz wichtig!
        Hier bei uns würde ich dir jetzt einen schönen Abend wünschen, aber ich glaube, soweit seit ihr noch nicht mit der Zeit, hihihi, also wünsch ich auch noch einen schönen Tag, liebe Lara, liebe Grüße

    1. Thank you. I am also not exactly an expert with plants. But there are plants, like the spider plant, which can take care of themselves. However, with pets and children it is sometimes not a good idea to leave them in the house because some of them are poisonous.

  8. Wunderschöne Bilder und überall blitzt schon der Frühling durch.
    Die Krönung aber ist die Küche mit diesen herrlichen Farbtupfern. So toll arrangiert und dekoriert. So richtig zum Wohlfühlen, das ganze Ambiente.
    Das sieht auch die Tina so, die fühlt sich pudelwohl. Würde ich mich auch, wenn ich da mal zu Gast bei Dir wäre.

    2. Pathos plants are very dangerous for pets. Sometimes it is better to buy artificial plants when you have pets. Tina, my dog, does not eat plants but if she would then I would definitely remove the plants. Plants are also dangerous for small children.
