We only have the beginning of November and winter is already here. Summer only lasts a couple of months and then we have 6 months of winter again. That is life in Canada.
There are people who love winter. They like outdoor sports like skiing, skating and going for long walks in the snow. Others cannot cope with the cold and if they are lucky enough they can spend their winter in the south, like Florida.
But winter can also be fun. You can decorate your homes with lights and play with your kids and your dogs outside. Here are some pics of the fun side of winter…

Oh, Lara, da hat bei euch der Winter ja schon wieder früh seinen Einzug gehalten! Ich finde es ja wunderschön, wenn alles so herrlich verschneit ist, kann mir aber auch vorstellen, daß 6 Monate Winter eine lange Zeit werden kann.
Gleich das erste Bild finde ich so schön, alles weiß, selbst das Häuschen, und Misty guckt nach Eichhörnchen!
Das eingeschneite Fahrrad ist der Hit! Und die ersten Weihnachtslichter leuchten auch schon wieder, das ist immer eine schöne Zeit, wenn das Leuchten beginnt. Hier bei uns ist dann meist der öde November um, da freu ich mich immer drauf. Hach, so ein rosa Baumhaus hätte ich als Kind gerne gehabt, wie gemütlich!!! Der Engel hat einen Schnee-Umhang, wie hübsch!
Eure Häuser begeistern mich ja immer, aber im Schnee sind sie wirklich besonders romantisch!
Ach, liebe Lara, das letzte Bild berührt mich sehr, der letzte Winter deiner geliebten Tina, so eine schöne Erinnerung!

Vielen lieben Dank liebe Monika und Mimi💕Da hast Du recht, dass der Winter schon viel zu frueh gekommen ist. Haben erst Anfang November. Und der Winter wird bis Ende April anhalten. Heute war es so kalt, dass mein Gesicht eingefroren ist. Trotzdem sieht der Schnee sehr schoen und heimelig aus und ich habe schon Lichtlein angebracht, so dass der dunkle Abend schoener wirkt. Ich wuensche Dir und Mimi auch noch eine schoene Woche

I am definitely NOT a winter person! Our temps are getting cold now here in north Georgia (U.S.) and I’m sure there will be snow but I’m always whining about going back to Florida when it gets cold! I do think it’s beautiful, though!

Yes, the snow looks very nice, especially on pictures. But the cold is another story. Today it was so cold that you could not stay outside more than 10 minutes. Even the dogs don’t enjoy it. Still, the snow does remind us of Christmas🎄❄️⛄️❄️

I like that you ended with Tina out in the snow Lara! Each dog is as unique as a snow flake. Both made of the same stuff but always beautifully unique!
