End of Summer

Now it is official.  It is really the end of Summer, and soon the end of Autumn.  It is getting colder and the days are getting shorter.  How depressing is that.  Many of the trees are still full of leaves and it makes us forget that it is already November.  When walking around I found the scenery very nice and colorful and here are some examples.

  1. My first experience of a really cold winter was a December in London 40 years ago. I suppose because it was unique I really enjoyed it. The sun set at three in the afternoon. It gave life an atmosphere of wonder and surprise.

    1. I don’t know how cold this winter in London was, but I can assure you that here the winter is something to remember, especially when it goes down to -20 C and the wind is howling around your ears while your feet feel like two ice blocks. No wonder so many people want to spend the winter in Florida. However, not all days in winter are the same and when it snows it looks very nice and the temperatures are normally milder. Well, I am already looking forward to SPRING.
