Secret Gardens – Jardins secrets Pt.1

Every year, one day in July, people are invited to visit the most beautiful gardens in Rosemère, Quebec.   Rosemère is an off-shore suburb of Montreal and is known for its quaint cottages and lovely gardens.   Every year a handful of gardens are selected to take part in the “Secret Garden Tour”.   I went this year and was amazed by what I saw.  Here are some of the pictures I took.

Monkland Village Montreal

Monkland Village is an area in the Western part of Montreal which is known for its quaint cafés and restaurants as well as lovely homes on the side streets.  It is part of Notre-Dame-de-Grace just west of Westmount.  I went with Tina the other day for a visit to the vet and we took some pictures.

Lorraine, Quebec

Lorraine is an off-island suburb of Montreal on the north shore of the Rivière  des Mille-îles.  In the upper part of Lorraine you will find big mansions and Million Dollar homes, while the lower part has lovely smaller houses and bungalows.  In the middle there is a shopping center and a school and there is a golf course next to the lower part of Lorraine.  Since I do not live so far away I went and took some pictures.

Summer Wine

SUMMER WINE is a song written by Lee Hazlewood and became famous with Nancy Sinatra in 1967.  Since then many artists around the world have adopted this song. There are many versions of it.  One of the versions I like is this one by AIMA BAIG and MUBASHIR LUQMAN from Pakistan.   I did not know Aima Baig before I spotted this on youtube.
