Every morning when I wake up I look at my plants and I am the happiest person in the world. This shows that plants do make people happy.
I was glad when a few years ago the book “Urban Jungle” hit the shelves and became a bestseller. It gave a whole new perspective on how to decorate a home. Instead of spending a fortune on expensive new furniture and following forgettable trends you can also create a cozy home with inexpensive plants. Nothing beats a green home and it will always be fashionable.
To have your own little indoor garden brings a lot of joy just watching your plants grow and seeing new blooms. It also keeps you busy taking care of your plants and turning your home into a peaceful area where you can relax and just be happy without wishing for more.
Here are pictures of my own little indoor garden and how my plants have grown..
plants love lots of light and are happy near a window. My monstera on the right is growing very fast.

In winter it gets dark early but you can still enjoy your garden under the lights. My geraniums are growing just as fast in winter as in summer
Hanging plants give the whole room another cozy look
You can create your own little quiet corner in any room
I covered Tina’s little worn-out and stained sofa with a cover and cushions and it makes this garden look very cozy
The geraniums in front which are growing higher and higher and soon Misty and Bo can play hide and seek behind the plants
Somebody is enjoying life in the jungle
This geranium is already living since 3 years here in the jungle
Little Bo has found himself another spot under the plants

Thank you so much. I am not really an expert with plants but I guess they thrive under the light, especially the geraniums. And some plants don’t need much care🌿Happy Tuesday💚🌿⛄️

I am sure not. There are plants out there which grow all by itself like the spider plant for example. Try it💚🌿

Du hast wirklich ein kleines Paradies bei dir zuhause, liebe Lara, wunderschön mit den herrlichen Pflanzen!
Deine Monstera ist wunderschön! Eine Schefflera, wie deine links neben der Monstera, haben meine Kinder in der Küche vor der Balkontür, die wächst auch so herrlich, das ist eine Pracht!
Ja, für den kleinen Bo ist der Gang durch dein Pflanzenparadies bestimmt wie ein Gang durch den Dschungel, er sieht richtig glücklich aus. Schööön, das Bild im Abendlicht und Bo und Misty zusammen genießen das offensichtlich auch. Die Geranien blühen sogar im Haus, ist das schön, und hängende Pflanzen mag ich auch sehr gern.
Danke für all die feinen Bilder von deinem Indoor-Garten, ich bin ganz begeistert, es ist herrlich gemütlich und heimelig bei dir, und wie glücklich Misty und Bo dabei sind, sieht man ihnen an!
Ich muß mit Pflanzen hier ein bissel aufpassen, daß alles zu Mimi “paßt”, soll heißen, daß nichts giftig ist, falls sie doch mal knabbern sollte, was sie aber eigentlich selten macht, denn zum Knabbern hat sie ja meist ihr eigenes Katzengras.

Liebe Monika und Mimi. Es freut mich, dass Dir der kleine Garten gefaellt. Ja, es sind die Pflanzen die diesen Raum so gemuetlich machen. Ich staune auch wie die Geranien so weiter wachsen und auch bluehen. Die habe ich alle fuer den Winter reingeholt und jetzt bluehen sie weiter wie im Sommer. Eine davon steht jetzt schon 3 Jahre im Raum. Und die sind so leicht zu pflegen. Genauso wie auch die Monstera und die Gruen Lilie. Ich glaube, dass die Gruenlilie nicht giftig ist. Ja, bei Haustieren muss man schon aufpassen, dass sie nicht an den Pflanzen nagen. Gott sei Dank interessieren sich der Bo und die Misty nicht.
Jetzt wuensche ich Euch auch eine schoene Woche und auch ein gutes und glueckliches Neues Jahr, das hoffentlich nur schoene Ueberraschungen bringen wird.

eine Grünlilie hab ich auch, die sind nicht giftig, stimmt! Und über deine Geranien habe ich auch echt gestaunt, daß sie tatsächlich sogar blühen drinnen, toll! Da hast du mitten im Winter Sommerfeeling im Haus!

Ich habe meine liebe Mimi am 8. April 2020 verloren, sie ist über die Regenbogenbrücke gegangen, ich vermisse sie so sehr.
